Mathematics is a full-contact sport,
and the best way to learn is by doing,
so let’s give it our best shot together!

What’s your secret superpower as a tutor?
I would say my empathy is my strength. It allows me to step into the shoes of the students and see their line of reasoning. However, it also allows me to be alongside them as they have light bulb moments, curiosity in trying different ideas, and their learning experience overall.
What lights you up about teaching?
I find it a privilege and honor to be able to teach a subject I love dearly. There are too many aspects to point out, but things such as seeing their “ah-ha” moments, having them laugh, and knowing that I am one of the first ones to introduce them to a foundational topic bring great joy.

Your nerdy confession:
I love learning about nature. I am an avid bird watcher (it is like Pokémon in real life!), I frequently try to identify mushrooms, and I use apps like PictureThis to learn about the trees around me.
