The Concept Decoder

I enjoy helping students decode complex ideas by breaking them down into simple steps and explanations that make concepts feel clear and approachable.

What’s your secret superpower as a tutor?

My superpower is helping students understand why something works, not just how to get the answer.  Once the underlying idea clicks, problems that once felt confusing suddenly become much easier to tackle.

What lights you up about teaching?

I love seeing the moment when something that once felt difficult suddenly makes sense.  Helping students building confidence in their problem-solving abilities is incredibly rewarding, especially when they realize they are capable of more than they thought.

Your nerdy confession:

I enjoy working on small coding projects and the occasional game of chess.  I like puzzles and logical challenges, so figuring out how different pieces of a problem fit together is something I genuinely enjoy.
